Mercy College Admissions is looking for volunteers for this position at three campuses - Dobbs Ferry, Manhattan, and the Bronx.
Description:
The Student Volunteer Ambassador is a voluntary leadership position that serves as a guide and face of hospitality to prospective students, families, and visitors. Volunteer Ambassadors are dedicated and enthusiastic students who enjoy sharing their personal experiences with and providing positive experiences to campus and department visitors. The primary responsibilities of the position are to provide quality customer service while representing Mercy College at events, tours, and while in the office.
Opportunities Include:
- tour training and execution
- event and recruitment inventory management
- admissions office coverage
Volunteer Ambassadors also have the opportunity to become Student Ambassadors (paid position) after at least 1 semester based upon availability.
Requirements:
- must attend training during the summer
- must participate in all major event days (5 - 6 Saturdays per academic year)
